The project
This project involved building the new Belfort-Montbéliard hospital, including a 748-bed medical, surgical and maternity building, a mobile emergency unit and an energy facility with wood and mixed-fuel boilers.
On 6 levels, covering a 72,000 m2 floor surface, the complex would house operating theaters, maternity wards, a medical imaging department, emergency room, intensive care unit and laboratories.
The project also involved designing 7 hectares of surrounding land with a 1,000-space car park.
